Grasses in Winter

A photo of the ornamental grass collection in mid March 2011, after 80+ inches of snow, much more than the 52 inch ‘average’. Ornamental grasses usually have winter interest and do not normally get totally buried. Only the giant miscanthus withstood all this winter’s snow.
