Reed canarygrass

Reed canarygrass, Phalaris arundinacea is everywhere in Minnesota! A roadside weed and invasive in wet sites, this aggressive grass spreads by rhizomes and a produces thousands of seed to create a huge seed bank in most soils where it grows.
