National Grass Trials are Planted in Minnesota

On June 27, 2012 we planted 22 cultivars of switchgrass and little bluestem as part of the first national grass trials in the US! We are pleased to be one of 12 locations across the US trialing these native grasses. While they do not look like much today, you can barely see them, just wait, grasses grow quickly!

I’d really like to hear how everything grows. Can you tell me the other 11 locations that also have the grass trial?

Maureen, we will be developing a website with all the info on how the trial plants are growing. The other locations are; VT, PA, NC, FL, TX, NE, OH, CO, OR, and CA. Fl and TX each have 3 or 4 locations, other states just have one site. Best wishes, Mary
