Forever SNOW!!

IMG_1466Giant miscanthus stands stiff and upright on April 10, untouched by winter wind and snow. This year, I am going to cut many of these stems and use as plant stakes and woven decorative garden features. The stems are like mini-bamboo and work well for many uses in the garden. They do not last more than a year, however, when left outside. Self-composting plant stakes!
