Resetting older grasses

Little happens without good help! IMG_0196

Landscape fabric placed more than 25 years ago slows our progress: roots grow on top, ‘dead’ soil beneath and endless strips are still coming out. I wish we had never used it, the benefits are minimal and the problems endless. IMG_0199 IMG_0203 IMG_0228
The newly divided and replaced miscanthus will grow much better: IMG_0232
